La Gritona is a woman-owned and operated 100% de agave reposado tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, produced by Master Distiller Melly Barajas. It is made with highland agaves, steam-cooked in traditional earthen ovens, and aged for eight months in second and third-use American whiskey barrels to produce a clear, additive-free tequila with crisp herbal and agave notes. The tequila is bottled in unique, hand-blown recycled glass bottles and is recommended for sipping neat or for use in cocktails like Palomas and Margaritas.
