A.A. Badenhorst Secateurs White is a dry, South African Chenin Blanc from the Swartland region, known for its freshness and affordability. The wine offers an exotic nose with notes of ripe pear, pineapple, honey, and citrus, balanced by a complex palate with succulent fruit flavors, subtle herbs, and a mineral-driven finish with hints of green apple, apricot, and lemon. Made from old bush vines on granite soils, it undergoes whole-bunch pressing and partial fermentation in old oak for Mellowing, followed by seven months of lees aging, resulting in a wine with rich texture and a tart, refreshing acidity.
